This logistics park emerged from the collaboration of El Consorci and Saba Logistics Parks, which manage this 41 hectare complex, in which 31 companies are currently located.
The business estate offers advanced and high-quality security, maintenance, waste disposal and telecommunications services, as well as support services for people. It also has parking facilities, a bus stop and a metro station on line 9, which connects to the airport, the Fira and the city of Barcelona.
It is divided into two distinct areas: a logistics area, with a gross area of 285,000 m2; and a business area of 120,000 m2, with an area suitable for building of 190,000 m2.
With outstanding accessibility to areas generating freight traffic, Zona Franca Logistics Park was created to become a logistics benchmark in our country. Its nine buildings comprise a total of 120,000 m2 of next-generation facilities.
These three buildings — boasting a striking design by architect Ricardo Bofill — serve as the corporate headquarters for El Consorci, Abertis Infraestructuras and Saba Infraestructuras. They are a privileged 1,350 m2 showcase parallel to Barcelona’s Litoral beltway.
They all feature open floor plans and glazed, double-skin, curtain wall façades, which ensure maximum energy savings and optimum thermal and acoustic insulation.
